Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 until January 19, 2008) was an American theatre, film TV, and voice actress. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was a part of films during the latter half of the 1950s. Later, she appeared in films that were notable, such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 until 1978, Pleshette was an recurring guest on a variety of TV productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on January 31 in 1937. The parents of her were Jewish as were the descendants of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
