Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She graduated with a BA from Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she received an MFA. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis is an American actor and producer, who has been involved in the world of film and television. She began her career as an actress in theatre and then went on to appear in many television shows, as well as independent and mainstream films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she was a character. She did not only get praise from critics for her role but did she also win a couple of awards and nominations. In 1995, she was the first to appear as Ariel on the stage on stage in The Tempest. She has performed on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. With regards to her film career the most recognizable roles she has played include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. She is also well-known for her role on ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
